Two tree construction
Each piece is made from two 12ft hardwood quartersawn timbers. My available stock includes Ash, Oak, Cherry and Poplar. They are matched to create continuity in the lines and balance the color of each waterfall style bench. Final dimensions on each vary slightly depending on the wood defects but are generally as follows:

Natural beauty embraced
All imperfections in the timbers are filled with Liquid Glass epoxy allowing all of the characteristics of the wood to stand out. No stain is used, only Minwax polycrylic to provide a flat and durable sealant to the wood. This creates a look that draws you to appreciate the weight and nature of the piece.
